The Bosch Litheon power driver is one of the best-designed power tools I have ever used. It makes me want to buy a lot of other Bosch tools, and I would too if I could afford it.

+1 on Bosch.

I've got one of their 36v Litheon drivers, a corded rotary saw, and one of their 5" grinders. All great tools

Makita and Bosch. But no Makita jigsaws because of the relative rarity of their blades.

Same here. While they're not the best, they're also not the worst and its much easier to track down a sears then a Snap On/Mac truck.

Hi.

In no particular order.

Bosch, Fein, Scheppach, Festo, Hilti for light duty.

Bridgeport, TOS, Colchester, South Bend for heavier stuff. (Biesse Rover49 some day)

Esab & Kemppi for welding.

Regards
Sam

I'm right with you. Throw in some Klein and you've got my tool collection.

All my snap-on mechanics tools broke too easily.

I like Bosch. I've used their hammer drills, 18v power driver, 10v lithium driver, etc. Great stuff.

Why, because of which part... Micro, or Soft?

Actually, the tools that I own are a hodgepodge, and many are decades old. I have a second hand Craftsman table saw from the 60's, and bought a Craftsman wrench set when I got my first car. All of that stuff is good. The motor stopped on my saw, and it was my wife who suggested opening it up to see if sawdust had gotten into the contacts. Problem solved.

My Craftsman circular saw and router are rather cheap. Both were bought "just to get a job done." I would buy slightly better tools today. With those tools, the stability and accuracy of the adjustments are important.
