It looks like a cool enough place, but I really don't know anything about it.

What's the economy like?
What's the government like?
What's the weather like?
What are the people like?

Small country, with a few large cities, Geneva on the lake is very cosmopolitan (jazz clubs and Chinese food). They speak French and a type of German. They have a social democracy, and are said to be humorless but, IMO, are more gracious than their German neighbors. Lucerne and the small cities around it, like Engelberg, are some of the most beautiful places on earth, IMO. Gray granite mountains, like Yosemite but 3 times the elevation. Close to France, Germany and to the south Italy. You thinking of moving?

Spent most of my time there in Interlaken and the surrounding area. It's an incredible and magical region, look it up. The people were wonderful everywhere.

They are. There's a reason Hitler didn't mess around with them in WWII.

Also, if you speak German, don't expect to understand a word of Swiss German.

I haven't been there since 1975, but I really enjoyed my brief time in Neuchâtel. Friendly people, great scenery, good food.

Cool, my friend is at Neuchâtel right now.

Arent the government policies very anti-immigration and borderline rascist?
