When I see a poll on TB there is usually a choice "carrots"... since I would rather sound stupid then be stupid... I thought I would ask... what are these "carrots"?

M., Germany | | | I like to tell myself that this meme started a few years back at a time when there when posting lots of polls was the hip thing to do in "Basses" and lots of posters commented that people were "comparing apples to oranges" in said polls. I think someone posted that if you were comparing apples to oranges, you might as well add carrots to the mix and it sort of stuck and "carrots" became synonymous with a humorous "other" option. At least that's how I remember it, of course things might have been totally different as the meme is pretty old by now.
