I know that there are some real dangers out in the world, and people need to be careful, but do you really suspect that gang members would plant young children on the street with an address in order to rape women?
I can anything can be possible, but this just smacks of fear mongering to me...
In an email I just received: Quote:
Subject: Fw: Warning from Sheriffs Department FAMILY PLEASE READ!
This is from the County Sheriffs Department, please read this message very carefully:
This message is for any lady who goes to work, college or school or even driving or walking the streets alone. If you find a young person crying on the road showing you their address and is asking you to take them to that address... take that child to the POLICE STATION!! No matter what you do, DON'T go to that address. This is a new way for gang members (MS13) to rape women. Please forward this message to all ladies & guys so that they can inform their sisters & friends and family. Please don't feel shy to forward this message. Our 1 message may save a life. Published by CNN & FOX NEWS (Please circulate).. **Please DO NOT IGNORE! Thank you !

Do people ever think before they press forward? |

Or something like that. | I remember that one but the version I heard was, if you see someone driving at night with their headlights off don't flash them or they will follow you and shoot you.
The latest I've heard locally that there were people passing out keychains that where actually tracking devices and they will go to your house and rob you. |

| | | | Chances are, if it's forwarded to you in an email--it isn't true.
Why do people still believe and forward these things? Do they just want to be afraid of the world? |
