What Did You Make On Your SAT/PSAT?

Sign in to disble this ad
My school gave our test scores back and I took the PSAT(I'm a Sophomore) and scored a 1650. 97th percentile on reading, 90th on writing, 53rd in math(there was a bit of guessing here).

There was a fair bit of talk about this today and i guess it's carrying over and i'm just curious. So, what were your scores?

I took my PSAT two years ago. Got about the same score. I hate math. I take my ACT Saturday.

2140 for me. EDIT: Forgot to specify. This was the SAT, not the PSAT.

They're out of 2400 now, they added another 800pt section.

took mine in 2002, so i think it was out of 1600. i was really hung over and got a 1340, so thats not half bad. i vaguely recall doing some essay in the verbal part about superman. i dont know what the question was, but i amused the hell out of myself for what i wrote, so i probably got a crap score on that part.

either way i got into the honors program at the school i went to for my freshman year (dropped out after being on the deans list for two semesters... dont do drugs kids!).

SAT topped out at 1600. Of course, we had to carve our answers into clay tablets back then.

i had a gig the night before i took my SAT.. i feel asleep during both sections - my score was low, i won't even put it here.. it was based on 1600 being the highest at the time.

Got a 1240 out of 1600 as a junior, didn't retry it senior year because I was lazy and thought it was good enough. I was right- my college didn't even look at it. Waste of $72 bucks.

...and 1/2 a day.

My friend's older brother accidentally misnumbered his at one point, causing most of the subsequent answers to be wrong. He tried to "fight" it when the score came back and was able to figure out how it happened. He didn't bother retaking it and did very well in school and life.

Useless scores for the win. Speaking of, we haven't had a "post your IQ" in a few months. Anyone feeling empty?

Mike
