What did you put in a time capsule when you were a kid?

Very interested to hear.

In 1985, I remember putting in a Glow Worm, a broken walkman ( a big deal then), a Wacky Wall Walker and a few other things...

I'd love to open it today almost 26 years later. I think I'm going to do this for my daughter someday.

What did you put in yours? I'm assuming all Elementary schools and Middle schools did something like this.

Go.

I probably brought a ninja turtle action figure, but then changed my mind at the last minute and threw in a chewed up pencil or something.

I figured we'd all communicate telepathically in the future, so I put in a relic that was sure to amaze and confuse future archeologists: A "PAL" #2 pencil.

We did one when I was in primary school at the age of 7 or so. Can't remember what I put in...

I need to find mine. I have no idea where it went or what's in it. My luck, it was a paper from my parents about buying stock in exxon or something...

IIRC we all had to write a diary entry describing a typical day, and bring in a toy each. I think I submitted a much chewed and much loved plastic elephant.

We never did that, but the first day of grade 9, we had to write a letter to ourselves with things we liked, loved, things we wanted to achieve that kinda crap.

Then on graduation, they gave it back to us with our diploma. It was pretty cool, and TOTALLY unexpected.
