I'm confused, I thought when you get to college it's a party and none stop fun. So far the only real fun I've had has been during winter break, when I'm not actualy in school. So far college has been nothing but alot of studying and walking from one side of the campus to another. I guess if you don't move away for college, it's boring? The people I see who seem to have "fun" are either drop outs or 25+ year olds just starting a pre program course. I have a feeling that this boring side of college life is normal and the movies glorify the unreal side of college life.
Plus, it's winter and no one is getting enough sun light so they don't have alot of energy and the economy is bad. I'm not getting as many shifts at work so my cash flow is low.
So, what do college kids really do?

And if your in your first year, get ready for it getting worse and harder. If you want to have fun join a society or a sports team or something.

And yes, moving away from the parents also helps.

Maybe practice bass. Or start taking illicit substances or finding drinking buddies

...But then again, I was a terrible college student.

lowsound | Nah, I'm at St Clair college. I'm trying to get the University via medical Lab Science but its seems like an up hill battle.
Don't even get me started on music. I can't find anyone to play with. The music classes are on the other side of town with all the muscians.

One thing I realized was when I was meeting lots of people (getting laid) I didn't do so well in school. When I was doing well in school I couldn't find a poosie stick it in.

Check out the site fiveonenine.com (you are 519 area code right?). All local music, get your name out there and meet some people.

But no one is going to advertise because the majority of people there are going to be underage and don't feel like getting busted. Make some friends and find out where the parties are. Play some beer pong and make out with cute drunk girls. Seriously this could very well be the drunken and sexual prime of your life, don't waste it sitting around your house/dorm playing WoW, it's not going to come to you.

Only a select few first years are still underage by the end of the year.

Frankly I'm disgusted with the whole illicit substance and drinking thing...that's not my scene and it's pointless and people get hurt. |
