What do you all think of GG Allin??

for those of whom are 18 and want an obscure outlook on life, enjoy. for those who are young pups who still want their innocence, avoid the link.
GG Allin, in my opinion, was probably one of the best and the worst things to ever happen to the entire rock genre. if nothing else, a funny guy.
more on him

When GG was a live I was completely unimpressed. Now that he's dead, I'm still completely unimpressed.

Talentless hack with no redeeming value.

My favorite part in "Hated" is when San Antonio mauls his a$$.......

Classic.

Merles moustache is also a highlight.

The Mentors & The Meatmen were better.

Meh.

That's pretty harsh, friend. Eldon was a good friend of mine.
The whole ElDuce thing was just an act. One of the nicest guys I've known and a pretty fair drummer.

peace

Cool guy, but a horrible musician. His early stuff was alright though.

An act or not, someone who promotes rape? Yeah, he was a real star . . .

Yeah, I saw it.

Yeah, his Jabbers stuff was WAY better than the Murder Junkies.

His solo acoustic stuff wasn't that bad either.

Yeah, yeah. He also ate dog poop, burned the lobby of SubPop to the ground and killed Cobain as well.

It's all a part of the old "Shock Rock" stuff. I don't condone all of the antics and I was never a big fan of buzzsaw punk or the lifestyle. But I never knew Eldon to abuse women in my presence. The whole "whipping woman" thing was just a gag. In good taste? No, but then that was the point of that whole style. It was anti-star. And to scare the hell out of white suburban kids parents *jeez*.

All I'm sayin' is he was a really good friend and a gentle guy who would do anything (prob more than I would want) for a friend.
And I liked jammin' with him.

To rejoice in someone being hit by a train seems a little weird to me.

I've never even heard any of his music, but it made for an entertaining Springer episode.
