What do you believe produces rigid people ? From what I have been able to gather I believe it has alot to do with an aggresive need for someone to control the reality around them at the same time having an absoultley defined truth in which to live. I would have to say the most rigid people I have met were produced my the institution I formerly " Served" in.

However, people can also be taught to see the world in black and white, right or wrong, etc. That's a learned approach.

I think it could be any number of things... upbringing, experience, environment. I know it's a combination of those things in my case. I believe in EVERYONE giving all they have, no matter what the situation. No one slacks, everyone pitches in, and the results are always more satisfying that way, for me. It's an exacting tendency to constantly strive to get things right the first time around.
