Reach down... grab my bootstraps and...

...smack the nearest kid with boxers or ass crack showing above his baggy pants with my Redwings!

Never fails to bring me out of a funk...

1>Sometimes its good to take comfort in routines, as this shows how stable your life really is. Sometimes sticking to the routine is the only stable thing in your day. It will get better, even if you do nothing...

2>I try to take the attitude, that if I do nothing else, I will at least do one good thing, even if it is to tell my mom i love her... I try to improve someone else's day even if I'm not "feelin it"...

3> Friends, make new ones, but don't forget the ones you already have. They always help.

4> Rediscovery re-introduce yourself to something familiar. Listen to an old cheezy album you used to listen to as a kid, or to one of your favorite albums without distractions...

5> any combination of the above...

Good luck

Very simple: GET BUSY.

When you're at work throw yourself into work. If you play music, play the hell out of it. If you do woodwork in your garage, start a new project.....etc.

No increased drinking, no negative behavior...that won't help. If you want a night out with the boys, that's cool - just don't make it EVERY night out with the boys.

The worst thing you can do is to sit around and NOT to be busy. Get busy, do something or some things, do a lot of it, and you'll enjoy yourself more.

The worst thing for someone to be when they're down is alone. Companionship is the best medicine.

there are always others who have it worse than we think we do.
