Go out and make some new friends. Get into a band if you're not already in one?
If you are maybe start a side project of something to keep yourself entertained.

Hop on the Harley and go for a ride, but I leave myself a note to remind me to worry about it again the next day. When I see the note the following day, I jump on the Harley and go for a ride... You see where this is going, don't you?

I tend to buy some new clothes. That makes me feel good and gives me a kick start.

Hook up with old friends, go on a visit to friends far away. That kind of thing.

For me, I usually find new things that stoke my interest. I'm in graduate school studying cyber security. A few semesters ago, I got into quantum computing. That lead me into physics. And I got really interested in physics and quantum mechanics. Keep in mind, I know nothign about either subjects. But I got really exited about it and began devouring everything about physics and mechanics that I could find. This lasted for a few months before the fire kinda burned out. Then I was back into a slump again. But as of a few days ago, I've found something new that I'm really stoked about: money. I've always saved for retirement and I've invested a little and I have a 401(k). But lately, I've realyl gotten interested in it. I bought myself a few CD's and spent some time pouring over a lot of prospectuses before investing in some stocks and mutual funds. Then I funded my Roth IRA with some more cash. And now I'm starting to devour everything financial that I can find. I'm reading books, advice columns, investing guides, etc. It's gotten me exited about soemthing again.I really hope this one lasts for a few decades.
I guess my advice is, just figure out something that interestes you. I'm assuming bass isn't doing it for you at the moment, so get into soemthing else. Maybe you like tennis? Buy yourself a new racket and find a tennis partner and start playing more. Maybe it's constructing building models out of toothpicks, that turns you on. Get yourself a few hundred boxes of toothpicks and get to it.
My point is, if you have even a slight interest in something, pursue it. It might prove to be just what you need to pull you out of the funk.

I get a massage with a happy ending. It might not fix the problem, but it's always a step in the right direction.

The great thing about reincarnation is you can just end it and start over.
