Spinach and artichoke salad.

Garlic bread.

Thick and crusty Italian bread with butter.

Red wine.

Chocolate cake and dark coffee for dessert.

I made the most awesome lasagna the other nite.

I think I've discovered the secret.

Flavor the ricotta cheese. Not the sauce.

Add the salt, pepper, red pepper and garlic powder to the ricotta cheese layers- keep the sauce pretty spice free.

Frickin' awesome.

So with the lasagne... Italian bread with butter.

MORE LASAGNA!!!

Sorry, I turned into Garfield for a second there. Eggplant's a good choice. I don't like garlic bread much anymore -- reminds me too much of the school cafeteria. But plain French or Italian bread with plain butter works well.

A Cesars salad and then a good steak. When the lasagna and steak are served together, it's like the most horrible decision of which one to bite into next. For some twisted reason, they go good together for me.

Me too, but not just ANY garlic bread.

This stuff is the BEST, and it is the only major brand with no trans fat.

The name is kind of an oxymoron, but the garlic bread rawks!
