What do you think of someone's first name being a part of their last name?

What do you think of someone's first name being a part of their last name? I have a line of relatives named Evan Evans, aswell as a neighbor named Lars Larson. I personally think it's kind of cool

I know someone named Albert Albert.

When confronted about his double name he replied: What?? My mother stutters.

Hi.

Being one of those people who has a name like that I can say that I HATED it when I was growing up. Later in life I found out that people remembered my name better, which in turn lead to more work opportunities.

I think it's cool.

Just my 0.02€

Steve Schneider changed his name to Steve Stevens, hooked up with Billy Idol, and the rest is history...

A few more:

Duran Duran is a fictional character from the film "Barbarella". Then, there's Sirhan Sirhan who killed Robert Kennedy back in 1968. Finally, there's Boutros Boutros-Ghali, who was the Secretary General of the United Nations around a decade ago. The only reason I know of him is that David Letterman used to mention his name all the time for laughs.
