This topic has probably been thrown around on here but let's give it a go.

What do you use to wake up in the morning? Alarm set stereo? Or the normal alarm clock.

Once your up, are you drinking a coffee, or a cola?

I set my laptop to play music when I need to wake up. Right now I am eating a fourth of a cheese steak and a monster energy drink. I'm awake for now.

Your turn............

I used to setup my iPod nano on my small speakers so that I would wake up to music I like. Nowadays, the iPod Touch can't do this anymore, so I wake up to the alarming sound of my alarm clock (think two-tone fire alarm).

I have an old radio alarm clock, but I almost always get up before it goes off. Most days, I don't even set it, unless I'm getting up much earlier than usual. I gave up coffee a while ago and usually have decaf tea or herbal tea when I get up. (I know, I know, Man card's already been confiscated.)

Alarm clock, shower, and a few cigarettes. I don't have coffee until I get to work.

20-30 minutes of chill time and some coffee generally help me get moving.

I set my alarm early enough to get up with plenty of time to spare, then hit snooze until I'm waaaaay behind the eight ball. This infuses me with a healthy dose of stress, elevating my heart rate and getting me running out the gate. Stress: the all-natural stimulant.

I've had a lot of problems waking up since I've suffered from insomnia my whole life. And when I'm finally asleep, a cell phone or a basic alarm clock just won't do, they can be ringing for hours without me waking up. But a year ago I found one of those really old school alarm clocks; huge copper thing with two bells on top and a spring powered hammer. It makes a hell of a racket. I'm up in 5 secods. If I wasn't, my neighbours would probably come trough the door with a fire axe in a minute or so. Guaranteed wake up. Then I make a pint of coffee, take some cigarettes and go walk the dog while drinking my coffee.

By the way, I thought my dog would start waking me up when I got him but turns out the lazy bastard likes sleeping in just as much as I do.

I use my trusty 80lb Boxer mix. She always knows when it's breakfast time, dinner time, bedtime biscuit time...

This, but I have to set it up in the other room to get me moving otherwise I'd just stay in bed. Once I get up to shut the alarm off I'm usually surrounded by cats looking for food so I'm forced to keep moving.

Ah, and I drink a single coffee, but only once I'm at work/school, so it motivates me to get stuff done and enjoy the spare time before starting to work.

I wake up with a LOUD Alarm clock. I wake up, eat something, and have a cup of coffee, then I am good to go for the day.

Alarm clock. I wake up about 10 minuts before I leave for work. I basically get ready to go to work before I go to bed, that way I'm already ready in the morning.

Radio alarm clock + phone alarm + crack in the curtains for sunlight.

Then shower, occasionally coffee.

Alarm on phone though lately I've been waking up before it which is extremely annoying.

Then depending on my financial situation, bacon, eggs, sausage, hash brown and toast for breaky, or just toast. A coffee or two and a cig or two and I'm usually out the door. Unless like lately, I don't have as much work, then it's sit around and look for an apartment/basement time.
