Something is wrong with Vista... I can get online just fine when I'm plugged into the network, and my wifi will connect to a network, but it says "local only"... home and school both say this, and they never used to. My roommates can get online here just fine. Its like something is blocking my wifi from getting on the internet, but not from connecting to the network. Help

-Mike | Yep.. its the weirdest thing, I unplug from the hardwire and it says "connected to MSHOME" which is the name of my network, but it is local only... no internet. Same thing at school, local only, where I used to be able to get online from there as well.

You could try to set IPv4 Checksum, TCP Checksum Offload (IPv4 & IPv6) & UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4 & IPv6) all to DISABLED and see if that helps.
