What expirences have you had with Poland ? I have never been there but I have met and spoken with a good number of Polish Nationals in the US and I greatly enjoyed my conversations with them. Some of the hotest Euros I have seen have been from Poland !

I've never been there, but when I was in Spain there was a Chapman Stickist busking outside of Museo del Prado and he was from Poland. I talked to him a little bit in Sponglish and he was a nice guy.

I worked with some Polish military in Iraq. Great guys. I had a lot of fun hanging out with them. They all had a great work ethic too.

I toured with an Irish Tapdance Show across Europe a couple of years ago and we had 6-7 Polish dancers (male&female). The ladies were just....sigh..gorgeous....and the guys were really cool, very professional. Nice people.
About a decade ago, due to the opening of the iron curtain, we had a massive problem with car theft over here. And, sorry to say that, most of the perps (right word for that?) were Polish.
They used to say "Come to Poland, your car is already here."
But that has changed completely.

I love Polish food!! Oddly enough, most people really hate me after I've had Polish food. I don't get it.

Mr. Janusz Kopytko, my double bass master, is from Poland and he's like my dad to me. An awesome musician and overall human being and I'm proud to keep such a strong and close friendship with him and his family.

P.S.: He also plays a '66 Fender P: http://www.youtube.com/user/sincopajazzband

My wife is 1/2 Polish, and I guess that makes my daughter is 1/4 Polish. Hmm. . . 3/4 of a Polock in the house; there must be a joke in there somewhere.

I've been there three times. All three I've been in Krakow and Oswécim (where Auschwitz and Birkenau are) and twice I've been to Warsaw. I've been working on various photographic and video project that will continue to take me there for a few years. I really like the place and the people. i have good friends who live in Wilanov which is a "suburb" of Warsaw and is where the Kings Summer palace was/is.

it's a wonderful place, i really like the people, the food is great, Krakow has a good jazz scene (can't speak for Warsaw as much), and yes Polish women can be some of the worlds most beautiful IMO.

One of my friends goes there regularly and loves it.

In my little town we get loads and loads of polish and czech people coming over during the summer (many stay all year round now). They come in the summer for the berry picking, they are usually students and the money they make in the summer covers them for the entire year back home.

+1 on them have the hottest chicks

At a factory I worked in they regularly hired young polish guys that had just immigrated over here. They usually imigrated because, I believe, at a certain age it is mandatory to join the military in poland for a couple of years.

These polish guys were some of the hardest workers and the toughest SOB's you might meet. Stong as hell, most of them are built like rocks.

The older polish guys still ate traditional polish diets, which apparently were heavy in garlic. When everyone started sweating boy howdy you didn't want to be around them.

We will be going to Poland in the fall for our delayed honeymoon. Well be going Warsaw to Berlin to Munich. I'm really looking forward to it.

On a side note, we're having our Holy Saturday meal today and it consists of several different Polish dishes. It's my favorite meal of the year!

I've met some Polish students, nice people. They actually weren't very different from German people I've met.

My mother's second husband has Polish roots. Other than that, I've not even tried their Spring Water.
