Why is it such a big deal that i reply to my own posts ? Im just posting about things that i experience in my playing. I think its rude to post that.
i am seriously thinking of leaving this forum. I was verbally abused by my ex and i left. I wont tolerate that anymore.
If anyond has a legit reason why i should stay otherwise im gone. | Starting a thread is nearly always done to elicit comment from other people. Doing so and then not even bothering to acknowledge the fact that others have given you the courtesy of a reply will be seen as rude by lots of people. It's a bit like walking up to someone to start a conversation and then walking away while they're talking to you. It's not normal behaviour on a discussion forum and your pattern of doing this became so predictable that you have entered into the forum vocabulary "(lownered"), as others have mentioned. Surely you can see that is an indication of just how frequent, noticeable and unusual such behaviour seemed to a significant number of forum members?
In addition, some of your posts give the impression of being stories that have been fabricated purely to get controversial responses and quite understandably people do resent being manipulated in this way. If this is an unfair criticism, maybe you could think about how to present your points in ways that sound at least faintly credible rather than highly improbable, so that they seem less like fairly obvious trolling for a reaction.

Did you just do it again? It's been over 24 hrs and there are 2 pages if replies...but you haven't posted again. Are you even reading this thread?

I think Munji may have coined the term not sure. Not sure it is worth it to look up all threads started by 'Lowner'. Not much 'dialogue' there.
I would PM the admins and have the username changed to something like 'non sequitur' or 'Threadus Interruptus".
Thanks for asking. Not sure you will come back to view the replies or dignify them with an answer. Which was the whole issue to begin with...
Why do people think I am a jerk for starting conversations I don't plan to participate in?

Suicide by thread. How gauche.

Honestly, Lowner, many here feel it is rude of you to hit and run, or leave orphan threads on us. It's a discussion board, after all.
In your most recent example, you related a controversial situation, leaving out the culmination of the interaction that took place. Numerous people were on your side, and asked for more background on the people behind the way you were treated. You're nowhere to be found.
Bottom line, what's happening here is the result of your own behavior. It's hardly comparable to abuse by a significant other. While a mod characterized your latest thread as trolling, many took your side, and offered support and/or advice. Why don't you try to be more of a community member than a grenade thrower?
And stop lownering us.

Apparently many of you live in this cyber world of TB and glue yourselves to the computer and take no time outside cyberspace. | Dear diary: today I learned how to be popular on a forum.
First, tell everyone there I can't be bothered to contribute to threads that I start.
Next, insult everyone who does respond by accusing them of having no lives.

OK, seriously- do you start a conversation and then leave before anyone replies? How do you expect people to react? If you don't have the time to participate, don't start the thread. At the very least, come back in a day or three and talk to us- we are here for you.

If you have time to post a thread, or read it, you have the 25 seconds or so to reply once a blue moon.

Apparently many of you live in this cyber world of TB and glue yourselves to the computer and take no time outside cyberspace. | Internet forums are obviously not the place for you. I really hope you approach your job and household duties differently than you have approached TB.
