For the longest time I was able to access Talkbass during coffee breaks and lunch-time from my office even though many other non work-related sites were blocked because of our computer use policy. Last December the site started to be blocked and now as of last week I can access TB again from work.
I'm not complaining, I just wonder how this blocking software works. Did something change @ TB to make it more friendly to corporate firewalls etc.?

Maybe the "threat" level of TalkBass was reduced in their database or they upped the level of allowed sites.
That's my bet.
(The real question is how many times you got the "This website is blocked by policy" message to realize you can finally go to Talkbass? Was it an obsession?)  |
