Well I got a PS3 today... I've got the Windows Media Sharing set up on my computer, and I have videos, pictures, and music in my shared folder... but the PS3 can only see the music. When I go to the picture folders it says there are none. Am I using the wrong file types? Does anyone know what picture/movie files the PS3 supports?

Seriously, the PS3 scared me away when it crashed every time I tried to play one in the store.
I think most of these consoles are trying to do too much. I bought my Wii because I wanted to play games on it -- not watch movies, or surf the web, or roast a turkey. I don't even have it connected to the internet  and I still think it's a blast.

There's nothing wrong with the PS3. It doesn't read avi files. mp3, mp4, wmv, and divx.
It helps to read the manual to see what formats are supported. |
