What kind of cell phones do you use?

There are tons of iPhone apps out there for musicians, but I'm wondering what actually gets used the most.

While I like what the iPhone has available, if I wasn't synced up to my Blackberry twenty-five hours a day I'm not sure I'd ever actually arrive anywhere. Not many musician-friendly apps but I can't stay organized to save my life without the thing. I keep a six-year-old Nokia around just in case I need a spare, some old flip phone that has been dropped in water and chewed up by a dog and the thing keeps working. Doesn't do much but make calls, but it does that well.

What are you guys using? How's it working out? For you non-smartphone users, why are you holding out?

The only winning move is not to play.

That's the purpose of the Nokia. When my job isn't paying my phone bill, I use that one.

Not everyone has a job and not everyone who has a job has one that would pay for a sweet phone .

So yeah, data plan rates suck big ones.

Cellphone plans, especially with data plans, are ridiculously expensive, which is why I don't have a smartphone.

I'm getting ready to switch companies. I've been with Sprint for over 10 years now but their data plans for my wife and I are way too high so I'm thinking about moving to Virgin Mobile here in a month and getting a Black Berry. Until then I still have my trusty, beat-to-death Sanyo Katana II from Sprint.

LG xenon here, no data plan and I don't think it's an actual smartphone either.

Data plans are even worst ($ wise) in Canada from what I've seen to.

I loooove the freedom of not having a cell phone. People can reach me at work and at home as necessary, but I can walk between those with hands in my pockets.

I have the original Droid still, and I really like it. I checked out the Droid 2, but this one I have is fine.

Samsung Captivate (AT&T's flavor of the Galaxy S). Rocking the cheapest data plan (200mb) and using wi-fi everywhere
