just curious, i've had very little the past 4 days and fading fast...personally, i did just over 48 hours once in grad school, but i don't recommend it...there were times then i felt i could've slept for 3 days straight if given the chance

Hooked up, then slept 4 hours, I was awake for about a total of about 48 hours, I guess. Then went back to work for 10 hours. I was pretty fried.

Then, afte 36 hours of being awake, tried to take a nap, and woke up to my girlfriend calling the campus EMT's because her ears were leaking brain fluids...not fun...
Haven't tried to break that record, but maybe sometime I will...

Some days he literally looked like the walking dead. Eyes so sunken he looked like he was sporting two shiners, he was at every party he could find. He's eventually crash and sleep for an entire day or so and then start the cycle again. I think he claimed his record was 72 hours, but I had my own problems at the time, so my memory might be fuzzy.

EDIT: as a total derail, he once called me at midnight the week of finals to tell me he and his roommates were throwing a "milk party". When I finished studying, I drove over to find a house full of people celebrating the one year anniversary of the expiration date of a gallon of milk in his refrigerator. They threw a second party a year later for the same gallon. Dude was disgusting.

Ugh. NoDoze are terrible things. I drank energy drinks most of my (short) college career, and my liver has I think mostly recovered, but there was a time when the smell of a Monster or Red Bull would make me feel queasy. And I'm pretty sure I got caffeine poisoning the last 2 weeks of my freshman year...

With drugs: More than 5-days...kinda blurry, you know! |

Turned out 2 inner ear, 1 outer ear infections. Her roommate rode to the hospital with her, because this nap was only like 30 minutes or something and I was in no state whatsoever to be dealing with this.
Thunderscreech needs to remember that cheap port makes his storytelling hard to follow and he should re-read everything he posts.

She was having a 'natural' birth so long hours were not unusual but at the end there were complications. When I finally got to sleep, it wasn't very good or very long. I think it took me a couple of days to recover.

My buddies and I in college made each other a bet that none of us could stay awake for 2 whole days (there were large amounts of beer involved with said bet, both in the betting and in the reward). Little did they know I played WoW and drank espresso like water at the time, so it wasn't very hard. I looked like death at the end of it all though I'll tell you that much.

December 1983, woke up about 7am Friday, went to class. Drove 200 miles to a concert, Beck, Clapton, & Page. Left home about 2am to back to school because I had a class at 8am Saturday. Did class all day, and went to a class party afterwards. Got home about 11pm, pulled the blankets up to my head when my roommate started pounding on my door to go out for the night. He found a bit of Peruvian happy powder somewhere along the line. I went to bed about 4:30am Sunday.
So, about 45 hours with only Pepsi to keep me awake. But the concert was worth the pain.
