Love is not finding a perfect person, it is seeing an imperfect person perfectly.

Thats what I think. Whats your take?

This reminded me of Todd Rungren's classic album "A Wizard a True Star" - where one side of the LP was labelled 'the search for Love'....?

And this song in particular :

Talk, you can talk, but if you ask me take
All your big words and put them together
What good will they do when the long day is through
Does anybody love you?
Do you think that anybody's in love with
You can dress up or dress down as you
Gaze in the mirror, hung up on your body
What good can it be when there's no one there to see
You're so lovely, so wise
You could make Venus crawl
But love between the ugly is the most beautiful love of all

It's the result of certain processes in our brain, controlled by hormones and other chemical transmitters. It is an evolved trait, which enables survival as both a group and an individual. It is a wonderful feeling, but you cannot say anything profound beyond that, since that'd be all philosophical conjecture.

Love only costs 150 flowers an hour in the special section of craigslist.

It's a drug, as addicting as heroin and as liable to leave symptoms of withdrawal in its wake. It's a cruel trick of evolution.
