I flew and landed my RC plane today, 3 times, 3 good landings. The last flight ended in the pouring rain

I also mounted the step rails on my wifes new truck. I smiled when I was done

the sight of a man and his son riding road bikes, and they were both wearing the ridiculous spanex suits that road bikers often wear. I had a nice laugh and smile over that one.

My daughter has been wanting to move back with me and my ex just called me to say that she has decided it would be a good idea. As soon as I can get her enrolled in the local high school (I'll have to take a few hours off work in the next couple of days to get everything together) she can come back with me.

Jamming with a different group of people this afternoon. New material, new levels of musicianship, new enthusiasm. I smiled and grinned the whole time!

My daughter started 5th grade, and learned to write her name in two different types of kanji. She was really jazzed about learning!

My first lesson with Chris Engle came today.

Awesome!
How are you liking Japan so far?

And today, I walked out into my living room and saw the "wall of random ****" that my room mate and I put up. The most random stuff is taped up on the wall, including an ironing board. It's awesome.

Looking at my bike when I arrived to the docks today. I rode a new route that takes me across the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. I hosed it off.
