What is most important in your life?

Again, what is most important in your life? Please try to take it at least a little seriously. I know when people see my avatar they want to joke around, but I need some insight on this one. I really do want to know. Of all the things in your life, what do you cherish and need most to be happy?

My wife, bar none. She's an amazing person, and I love her more than anything. She's, in many ways, the complete opposite of me, which works out (mostly). She's working 3 part time jobs plus working photoshoots on the side to help me work less than 20 hrs a week while I'm in school full time.

Friendship and love. Being loved by the ones you love.
I don't really care about anything else.

hey Daren, can you elaborate? What do you feel is an equal balance of doing things you dont like in order to make him happy? How do you make sure you are happier making him happy, than doing the things you may not like to support him? Get me?

I was chatting with my guitar player about the fact that both of us have super cool wives. We never (ever) need a "guys night" or "man time". Our wives want to hang out with us and our friends and we like it when they're there. We don't have anything to hide from them.

We're moving out of our inlaws house (thank god) and into a house in october. The music room / practice space is going to be where the dining room was. I still can't believe that she ok'd that move.

I'm a really lucky guy.

+1

I was thinking of asking "why" but figured an answer was what you were looking for. Hope all is well, paul.

My wife. I've known her for 35 years and been married to for 30.
My daughter. I've known her since she was born 28 years ago.
My son. I've known him since he came into the world 26 years ago.
My first grandchild - who will arrive in around 7 months time but I've only known about since the weekend.

A few things are very imprtant to me. My son (who's 26) is number 1 in my life. He's turned into a fine, hard working young man, a great husband and a loving father. He's the best and we're very close.

I also treasure my independance. I've been divorced and alone (but not lonely) since '93 and seeing how I don't have much free time it's nice to know that when free time does come my way that I can call the shots as I see fit. I can go where I want, do what I want and can do it as loud or as quiet as I want. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Trying to better understand God is also very imprtant to me. I lived for too long without Him and am doing my best to understand it all.

Love my music, my guitars and my basses.

My education right now. A close second is most of my family, followed by my friends/girlfriend. I love music and my instruments, but I think if I have all of the above I may be alright without music or a way to make it.

To crush my enemies, see them driven before me and to hear the lamentation of their women.

Sorry, thought that would have been done by now

Right now, my education is about the only thing that gets me by day to day. Tho, starting yesterday I was getting back into playing with a band in a big way, good times.

And my family are always there too
