What is the most you have paid for a work of art ? $300 is the most I ever paid for a single tattoo.

Otherwise, any other art I have purchaced has come from www.derekerdman.com , flippin' cheap art. |

My honeymoon in Paris turned out to be an expensive art trip... but very rewarding.

But there was a guy I knew who used to be quite a fashionable photographer and silkscreen artist in the Warhol vein. He later fell on hard times and became a down and out bum. I once met him as he came into town on his bike with a load of large serigraph portraits he was going to sell for booze money. He offered me a matched pair for about $10. I bought those, had them framed, and they've been hanging side by side on my living room wall since.
