What Movie is This?

When I was younger, I saw this movie on TV. I don't know what it was called and I only vaguely remember it.
It was about a boy who was with his mother and brother in an airport. Somehow he wandered off and got lost. They didn't find him for years. When they did, they found he'd been taken in by another family. He went by a different name. I seem to think his name was Ben (either before or after)
that's all I remember...does anyone know this movie?

I don't think it was THAT big a movie...but I'm sure someone must have heard of it...

Do you remember any of the actors?

What TV station was it on? More importantly, was it made for TV, or was it a syndicated showing of a feature film?

Can we get an estimate of the year you saw it?

Any other plot details?

Possibly "Without a Trace" it was out in 1983 and had Judd Hirsch and Stockard Channing in it.

He didn't get lost in an airport in this, he went missing on his way to school, but the rest is identical to what you posted..

Unfortunately no, it was quite a few years ago, such that I can't even approximate when. No idea on actors...I don't even remember how good a movie is, just that I remember seeing it and now it's bothering me. I know I didn't give many details...

Not entirely sure...I'm pretty sure he got lost in an airport, but I'll look up this movie anyway.
