Hi everybody.
Just wanted to ask this question out of curiosity because one of my brothers surprised me with AC/DC's "Family Jewels" double DVD plus a "Live At Donington" poster . So, I'd like to know which music-related gifts you received. Thank you in advance!

| | <-- That guy looks like me, but old. | | Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: Arlington TX | | | I bought my own biggest Christmas gift this year. I got Feelinlow's Lakland 55-02d. My wife got me several patch cables of assorted sizes, because she heard me b****ing while I was trying to hook up my studio goodies, all I had before were either the longest I could find (bass to amp) or the shortest I could find (effect pedal to effect pedal)
Also, my tuner disappeared somewhere in the house a couple of weeks ago. She heard me getting progressively crabbier about that and tried to get me a new tuner, which is to say she did get me a new tuner, just not one I'd have gotten myself(BOSS TU 80). But hopefully GC will take it back in and credit me toward one like the missing one(Intellitouch).

Call me a nerd but i love music history. I mean say what you will, but there's a reason people still remember people like Bach and Beethoven hundreds of years later. Who could you say that about from the last century of pop music? The Beatles (that's my vote)? Stevie Wonder (also great)? Certainly not anything these days. Yes i'm a snob and i don't care.
I also got an iTunes gift card with which I bought some Decemberists stuff and the newest White Stripes album (which is rather good).
