what ONE Beer?.......

alright, here's the proposition...you've been sentenced to life on a South Sea Island...OR....you're the captain of a spaceship about to take off on an intergalactic trip.

those in charge have told you you can have one and only one beer.

you can have as much as you want, matter of fact, they are ready right now to pack 10,000 cases with you on your trip, but it will only be one brand.

what would you choose?

i've read the "What beer are you drinking..." threads and given this matter some thought.

mine would be Boddington's Ale, on nitrogen....I just love that beer.

what would YOU choose?

I love a lot of brews, but one for the end-all-be-all?

Newcastle Brown Ale. Hands down.

well, there's two votes for those lovely British brews...what others?

I could live w/Sudwerk Doppelbock, Sol, Heineken, Moosehead, Moose Drool, Corona... but then I'm pretty much a P-Bass guy. Keep the head clear to focus on wimmen. :)

I'm not really a beer person. Can I bring a supply of Crown Royal instead?

Four Peaks hop knot.

Probably the old reliable Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Enough taste to be interesting, not so thick or crazy hoppy to be overpowering.

Paulaner Salvator... Generations of bavarian monks can't be wrong!

Yeungling Lager. One of the only things I miss about living in Pennsylvania :D

Westvleteren 12. (Actually, I've not tasted it yet, but I hear it is AWESOME.)

Nothing fancy as i would probably get bored of it after a while...
I would go for my favourite of our 2 usual beers on tap in Belgium: Maes

Refreshing, not to heavy like a special beer, always hits the spot...

Dogfish Head 60 Minute, Fegley's Brew Works Hop'solutely, or Magic Hat Blind Faith. I'll let who's footing the bill choose whichever is cheaper.

Beer: I've grown very fond of New Glarus Fat Squirrel

Ale: Bellhaven's Scottish Ale... the best malt beverage known to man:p
