What to see in Philly in an afternoon?

Never been. Staying on Market Street at the downtown Marriott. Should have all afternoon tomorrow, but will be in seminars most of the rest of the time. What can I do that will be within walking distance?

I'm not a Philly expert but I've stayed at the hotel @ Penn's Landing (right next to the Ben Franklin Bridge). All the historical crap is near to there (Independence Hall....etc).

Pat's and Geno's (Cheesesteaks) are close; corner of S 9th street and E. Passyunk....It would be a bit of a trek.

Theres some cool obscure record stores on South Street and some of the streets branching from there. If you have time, walking across the Ben Franklin bridge is quite the experience and the waterfront in Camden has the aquarium and the battleship new jersey.

Definitely hit up Pat's and/or Geno's. They're like THE definitive Philly steak joints - or just one of them is, which one depends who you ask.

Can't go wrong with South St.
