Many bars that serve particular beers (for example, many Belgians, have the proper glass on hand, (i.e., Duvel, Chimay, etc.). These glasses vary in size. |

Bars that actually give a damn about beer and have an at least adequate selection will use a proper pint or imperial pint glass for many beers. Belgians vary in size and glass shape and bigger beers like barley wines and imperial stouts often start at 7 oz.
