I just watched Brokeback Mountain tonight and man that is one sad movie, very touching. I also thought Forrest Gump was a very sad film, it sucks outliving all of your loved ones. What films do you find sad ?

I find Dances with Wolves painful to watch.
Philadelphia is super sad, obviously.

Well,I don't know about now,but when I was younger, this movie got the waterworks going everytime.

Brian's Song is the story of Gayle Sayers & Brian Piccolo's ( American pro footballers ) friendship and Brian's struggle with and untimely death from cancer.

I've lost my father and sister from cancer since I last saw it so I'd imagine I'd have an even tougher time with it now.

+ 1 to Philadelphia. You can put Shindler's List on here too.

I thought Ladder 49 was pretty sad, but I haven't seen it in years.

AMEN! Beautiful movie to look at, but...wow.

Requiem For A Dream leaves one pretty low.

New York Doll. A documentary about Authur "Killer" Kane, bassist for The New York Dolls. People around him seem to treat him like (for lack of a better term) a "******." It was inspiring, but the ending was really sad.

I'll go with Control. Terribly, terribly sad movie. Especially when his wife's crying at the end with her baby in her arms. I sobbed like I hadn't since KG when I watched that.
