RESOURCE

Unfortunately, that's how modern PMs refer to PEOPLE. This kind of takes away the 'human' aspect of managing people and I guess makes it easier for them to lay off personnel when not needed?

Spelunk..........

It just seems like a snooty, preppy, tree hugger word that doesn't need to be used. Exploring or just about any other related word works better and is less irritating to hear

baby

repulsive word. and not that I'm against babies. I just hate it when it's used by annoying people as a term of endearment for a significant other.

I call my wife "Babe" all the time. Is that just as bad?

"retarded"

It's rude, insulting, and inaccurate. I was born in the 1950's and it was made very clear to us that you did NOT ever call anyone retarded, as it was a real insult. Somehow this term has crept back into common language (usually among young people) as a synonym for "acting foolish", "bad idea", or some similar sentiment. But there seems to be no consideration for the impact that this term can have on cognitively challenged or disabled people. Using the word is normally in horrendously bad taste.

commensurate. Too many hiring managers use it and have no idea what it means.

Intuitive, trivial, ignorant, pathetic, ironic.

I'm so sick of hearing the first two at school from professors.

I'm tired of hearing the last three misused.

"no", "can't", "indie" when not used in it's correct way and irritating hipster girls who call themselves "funky" or "unique".
