What would you buy with $2500?

Suppose you come into a large chunk of "found" money and have enough that you decide to indulge yourself with two and a half grand.
Instruments, amps and trips are too obvious.
What toy would you buy that you never would have if it wasn't for the sudden windfall?
Don't say invest it either. Pretend this is a very small piece of the windfall and investments are well taken care of. No guilt or second thoughts, you can just spend it.

I'd take the family and my sister on a short vacation. Maybe we would do a weekend at Disney World.

A honest personal trainer that I could trust with keys to my house. He or she has to be a morning person because I am not, lol. If there was any left after a year or so I go all out on wardrobe.

Hire a crew to clean and do repairs on my apartment, put up shelves, get a new oven and fridge, stuff like that. And if I have any left over, some clothes.

I'm with ya. $2500 pays my mortgage and leaves me enough to splurge on a McD's Happy Meal for myself.

Uni fees, so that I can put off work for another however long.

>_>

That or visiting a friend of mine in Chengdu... Probably the latter, but that probably counts as a trip.

My own personal squat rack for my house. Something like the ones sold my elitefts.com.

I'd add a couple of bucks and get myself an Omega Seamaster Professional 300M (the Bond watch, in black, automatic version).

A used Volvo 240 station wagon in decent condition.

All of these things are coming eventually...
