What would you rather drive?

^^ Can you tell I have a European heritage?
My family is Italian.

If i could see well enough to drive, "normal" American cars would not be on my list. The only American-built cars I like are Corvettes, Vipers, and older Mustangs and Camaros.

With that said, the only "new" cars I like are European-built cars. Especially BMW. These cars give me a more emotional feeling when I see them in pictures, and when I listen to some of their glorious engine noises in a Youtube video.

I would happily drive any European car daily, even with their supposed reliability problems, because to me, I would rather drive a car that I truly love, rather than an appliance.

What would YOU pick?

(Sorry for the long post. lol)

Right after college: Nice SUV. Don't care if it's European or Asian or whatever. I just want big and luxurious.

After my income allows a second care, either a Porsche GT2 or a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

I used to rock a Mazda, but now I'm driving a Ford.... Although ford did own mazda... And my car before that was a Cadillac. I love all the different nationalities for different reasons... they all have their own philosophies of how a car should be and they all have a lot of good and not so good attributes.

If I could afford a car I'd get a Toyota Yaris. That looks like a sensible automobile, and from what I hear it's pretty dependable.

Assuming this is a money-no-object decision...

I have a fondness for the Ferrari 550 Maranello. In red.

I'm a S2000 / Miata kind of guy. So a cool car to have in that category would be a Lotus Elise, or maybe a TVR Tamora.

This was my daily driver (not this actual one) but I'm now resto-modding it and it's temporarily not drivable. I hope to get it back on the road by next month. There's nothing really special about it but it's very much my ideal car and I really enjoy it.
