What are you getting/giving for fathers day?

I am giving my dad a set of old wooden handled knifes, I tung oiled the handles and sharpened the blades. I have about 4 or 5 hours into this gift, and I'm still not done. I have a few more coats to put on (I have 5 coats already), the wood was really really dry and completely white in some parts and cracking. I put a tiny bit of wood glue over the cracks and smoothed it down.

What are you getting/giving?

I got a Trek 7500 Hybrid bike for a combo birthday/dad's day gift (my b'day is only a week before father's day). Unfortunately my dad has passed, so it's me and my wife and daughters now. I'll have dinner with the whole family this Sunday.

Saturday - Going to meet my parents up in RV land with my fiancee, brother, & sister. Do some BBQ'n, some drinking, and (when the 'rents arent around) some herbal medicinin. Pitching a tent in the campsite so we can crash. If it werent for my girls new found kick of doing it outdoors I probably wouldnt be getting laid that night (that is, if I dont pass out first).
Driving home for another BBQ with the in-laws Sunday, to announce to the rest of her family that we're engaged.

The only way my father's getting anything from me is if he randomly/accidentally shows up in my town--in which case he's getting my boot through his teeth.

My 18 year old son is getting me a ticket to see Rush in Atlanta. Him and his friends are paying for the hotel room, I just have to drive 'em down there.

We're grilling steaks at their house on father's day, and I'm hooking him up with a shiny (old) WWII/Korea era pocket-knife I picked up at the army surplus store and restored.

Sounds like a good day.

I will be getting little or nothing.

I will be giving spankings to those little ingrates.

OK, not really.
