I'm sure that most of us are doing the rational thing and saving the best Christmas gifts for yourself. What are you getting for yourself?
I'm going to get an HDTV and player! I've already fulfilled all my bass gear needs.

I have my RC Car to play with, I have a feeling the family might have bought me some accessories for it I'll just enjoy the stuff I got for the wife and kids............and a day off. We just gave my daughters boyfriend a guitar I had for a while that wasn't getting any love. He's a geetar nut and was floored!! I'm finally at the point in my life where I really enjoy giving someone something more that getting anything. I have enough stuff If someone gave me a nice bass I might be OK with it though |

I know of commercials done in HiDef where the background plate was shot with an average DSLR. Plus, I just love photos with a nice shallow depth of field.

lowsound | Same here. I may pick up a Wii game or a few books or something after Christmas, but that's it.

| | | | Picked up my DPMS AR15 last week. I think I'll use gift money (no one ever knows what to get me) to pick up a Verizon Voyager.
Honestly though I could care less. This is my son's first Christmas and that's the most exciting thing for me this year.

The remaining Christmas money that I have is going towards a new Behmor 1600 coffee roaster.

bc | Good choice on roaster. What are you using now? I am stuck on a West Bend Poppery II until I can afford something else. I can't get anything past second crack with it in this cold weather so I might just have to go and buy beans for the espresso machine that I think I am getting from my parents for christmas.
