"Children of Dune" - Frank Herbert
Book III of the Dune Chronicles

A good read. Like Dune Messiah starts slow and about the middle works back up to a good flow. First book "Dune" was by far the best and stands well by itself, but the sequels are well written and follow a good flow.

Gonna take a fiction break and read a couple non-fictions on the pile.

I've taken an interest in steam power lately, especially when considering the past. There was a time when the world stood right on the verge of both steam power and fossil fuels as energy sources, and we could have gone down either path.
