DH3 was ok ... till Bruce started bleeding 20 gal/hour after pulling that 14" long piece of steel cable out of his shoulder.

Oh and I forgot about the 600' drop from the cable to the ship. Even -I- couldn't say, "It's a movie. That could happen."

Meh, it always the first one no mater which sequeled movie it is.

Like most of these big box-office action hits the first is usually the best. After that the character and story is predictable, so that one element which makes a great movie is missing. You're just going as a fan of the first movie. Nothing wrong with that of course, it's just my opinion why a sequel will never be as good as the first.

I like Empire Strikes back better than Star Wars.

And Terminator 2 is better than the original IMO.

Godfather I & II are masterpieces. Too bad they never made a third one.*

*denial is wonderful

Very rarely is a sequel better than the original.

Die Hard one all the way. Ho ho ho

Only superiour (or on par) sequels were Terminator 2 and Aliens.

I am actually not a big fan of the Die Hard series but I'll have to say the first followed by the third.
