What is your favorite purchase in the last year?

I absolutely love my iPad! It is only the 16 gig model, but it has 3G, and use it all of the time. My kids love it too, and I may buy another, or maybe an iPad Mini. Not only is it the best thing I have bought in a year, it may be the neatest luxury I have bought in five years!

What is your favorite purchase?

Tons of scuba gear. Really.

This year, I bought my BCD, complete set of regulators, wetsuits, masks, snorkels, fins, tanks. You name it, I bought it in 2012.

Found my next passion in life.

I've had some good ones this past year... 2012 Am Std P5, 2012 Am Dlx Jazz, and just $275 for a Carvin B1500 with a rack case, great deal!

I'm hoping my best one will be a just purchased (but not yet received) Nordy VJ5, PJ setup.

As always, I have bass GAS. I would love an ATK805 or 1205. I am also tempted to spend a few hundred on my pocket knife collection and pick up a few more Spydercos, Benchmades, and Zero Tolerance knives. Finally, I think I will pick up a high powered break barrel air rifle, maybe for my birthday.

The bottom line is that I want more stuff than I have disposable income!

Tie between my motorcycle (Kawasaki er-6n) and my Warwick P-Nut II. In winter, I think the P-Nut wins, but come summer, the bike takes over for sure!

Since this is posted in OT I'm gonna assume not bass related. That's a pretty short list for me, so I guess I'll go with my leather jacket. I got it on ebay, and I was the only bidder so it only cost ONE DOLLAR! Of course I had to pay shipping which was 12 bucks or 18 bucks or something, but still a screaming deal. Not only was it a killer deal but I really like the jacket too. New condition, perfect fit, and exactly the style I was looking for.

As for a bass related purchase: my CIJ Fender Mustang.

I started playing acoustic 6 string two years ago, after 40 years of bass. I bought a new Walden G3030CE that I love, and this little amp that I use for guitar, vocals and (safely) bass in low volume gigs. Nice warm sound.

Not crazy about the colour, but the amp was 6 months old and I bought it for half price.

The xmas presents I bought for my nieces made them happy, so they were my favorite OT purchases. It's hard to buy for teenage girls.
Bass related? My JB-2.

I paid off my car 2 years early, bought a Fodera Emperor 5, and picked up an Aguilar DB750. All have treated me very well so far, and I don't regret any of those purchases, but I would have to say that the Fodera takes the cake.
