What is Your Favorite Sound?

Sign in to disble this ad
There is a favorite smells thread floating around, and I feel like I'm asking a Major Metal question

There is something about the sound of a Zippo closing. I don't know what it is but for some reason it is one of my favorite sounds.

Anybody else have any quirky auditory fixations?

+1 on the Zippo closing sound but I no longer smoke so carrying a zippo let alone opening and closing it does not happen any more.
I do love the sound of a ship's bell in the distance, especially on a foggy night.

All of the sounds mentioned above are cool. One that I particularly like is the 'ping' when the magazine pops out of the M1 Garand on the Medal of Honour games. I assume it makes the same sound in real life.

I'm pretty sure that is accurate. Good call. Add to that; spent shells ejecting is a cool sound in general. (looks cool too).

I'm glad you guys aren't responding with "P-Nuts Tone" or Envelope Filters. Keep em comin.
