Besides working for ol' pops, I was a Sales Associate at Steve & Barry's University Sportswear for the Xmas season of 2007. I was 17.

My only regret during that job was that I was not under the effects of any glorious plants while doing those stupid 8 hour shifts.

I picked vegetables at a local farm on weekends when I was 11. I did it for 2 summers, for about 40 bucks a week.

Dishwasher in an oceanside hotel restaurant kitchen in Kill Devil Hills, NC. I was 15, not legal to work, but the owners were friends of my parents.

Sold candy and stuffed animals and such at the carts in Canada's Wonderland...and got yelled at for sticky candy (durr it's in the sun all day) and even had a rock thrown at me...good times

I was hired at 14, but couldn't legally work until I turned 15

15 at Taco Bell. Night shift / closing. that was WAAY before the 24hr taco bells.

I usually got out of there at 2:30 and went to school by 7AM the next day.

They worked me just shy of 40 hr's a week, so I wasn't considered 'full-time'

I did the "normal" stuff when I was a kid...cutting grass, washing and waxing the neighbor's cars, etc.

My first "real" job with a paycheck instead of cash was washing cars on the lot at the local Mercedes Benz and Mazda dealership. I was about 17.

By the way, I started gigging for $$ when I was 14.......maybe that was actually my first job!

My first and only job has been playing music. I started at 16 and only got my first non music job (ever) last November at 54.

16 - auto shop

Helping fix cars, ordering parts and picking them up, keeping the shop clean and running, do all the paperwork, keeping their computers running. Changed oil, changed tires, mounting stuff, all the small stuff around the shop.

Great job really, it was chill, kick back, boss paid for lunch time and for most of lunches. Hell, when i go there to fix my car he still pays for my lunch a lot of times. MMMMM New york streaks... Fancy stuff... He didn't care about me being late, i called in "drunk" few times, he was ok with it...

$8 a hour (plenty for 16 year old) Hell, right now, after rent, bills, car payments and alcohol I get same amount as i did back then.
