I thought it was the greatest thing ever until I found out they sold it at the corner store for a dime a dozen.

I'd fear living forever more than death

I dont like the thought of immortality and I di indeed think its impossible to achieve. One of the good things to life is that it is limited. Without limit it wouldnt mean anything since there would be no restrictions.

well, i guess we're all immortal, just in different life forms. me, i can't wait to turn to grass and be eaten by cows.

poetic justice, considering i'm eating steak tips right now.

Organisms which reproduce asexually are effectively immortal. Immortality ended with the invention of sex.

Evolution requires death.

yup.... and why not? You have to have some kind of reward for being moral (or whatever the local/current definition of 'good' is)... and (this is the one that really takes the biscuit) without immortality there can't be any Hell.

peace.

Everyone is immortal...
Just where you'll spend it is the real question.

Could you just float through the cosmos infinitely?

Just plug that ampeg into a quasar and blast the universe with mad bass groove.
