I had a pretty good haul this year. The best thing was an SX P-J bass in black with rosewood fretboard, from my wife. It plays awesome, better than any hundred dollar instrument ought to...BUT...the seventh fret marker is missing and the finish on the side of the neck is screwed up, so I have to exchange it for another one. I've already been in contact with Kurt but man I don't want to have to send this thing back and wait weeks to get another one.

My bass was an early Christmas present to myself.

Also:
Clip-on tuner (really needed it)
Music stand
Jeans and shirts
Air Force 1s, all black
Max Payne 2 for PS3
Money

Pretty decent. I was happier about the gifts I gave though.

-Darkglass B7K as an early Christmas present to myself. Been using the crap out of it on all my Holiday gigs and loving every second of it!

-Dean Markeley SR2000's
-Corduroy pants
-Two sweaters
-Socks
-Led Zeppelin's Celebration Day dvd and cd

While I liked all the presents I received, my family and I did a lot for several less fortunate families in our community. THAT made my Christmas more than anything I could've gotten from a store.

It's Shun - matches the other seven in the block. I wanted one to cut up chickens and the like. I love 'em. They hold an edge better than any others I have.

Don't worry - it goes only in the slot in its own block.

Enough cash and gift certificates for a midi keyboard, monitors, and hopefully I can score a used Korg Triton rack unit. And a mini remote helicopter! Gonna break some **** with that for sure.

I went all out this year and spent $7.50 on something to hang on the wall of my music room.

Aw, mine doesnt have a water cannon.

I got a Beatles t-shirt from my parents, the same one they got for me about 3 or 4 years ago.
I got 2 pairs of Dickies I need to exchange for better color/size.
I got a leather wallet I won't use, but appreciate nonetheless.
I got a Ralph Steadma F&LILV poster (that I also already own) in a frame.
My brother got me this, which is pretty sweet:

And my gf got me the Essential Stanley Kubrick Collection on DVD (9 movies and a Documentary) along with 2 tickets to the Kubrick exhibit at the LACMA.
