Been thing of getting a didgeridoo myself. There is a nice one at the studio we rent. It would sound great in church. If you get tired of it I will be glad to take it off your hands. I'm always willing to take a hit for my family here at T.B.

My family picked it up from a guy who handmakes them at a local farmer's market. It's a unique shape, supposedly invented by the guy himself. It's called a "didgeridugle".

http://didgeridoo4u.com/didgeridugle.html

It is played the exact same way but the tubing is curled like a wind instrument making it easier to transport.

My parents bought it for me, so I don't know how much it was. They got it because it was "deeper" and they know I play bass. Based on that description, I think mine is tuned to the key of C.

I got a maglite flashlight to replace the one my youngest 'borrowed'

A girl at work gave me a scratch-off lottery ticket, but I think I lost it.
I did get a piece of good news on Christmas, and met a very cool woman, two great gifts. Also, nobody cried at my house until 3pm, which I think is a record.

The guy came up with a good idea, I think the really huge ones are cool but you are right about transport. Have fun with that. Have you already mastered circular breathing. Someone told me to cut a straw in half and practice blowing into a glass of water. The idea is to get to a point where you can blow without pausing for a breath.

Honestly it wasn't a complaint, I'd much rather receive nothing than something I don't want. My poker face is horrible and It's gonna just sit there or get thrown away. It's actually frustrating to be very specific on what I want and get none of it.

So yes, I'm very happy I received nothing.

Flip flops, iTunes gift card, gas grill, Bolle sunglasses, socks, salt and pepper mills, cash, chocolate, and my wife had this made for me from my 2 year old little girl:

It's silver. I'm going to convert it into a pendant so I can wear it on my chain with my daddy dogtags.
But, you'd think my wife would know that I don't play with a pick.
