Words cannot express how jealous I am of your right now. I went from teaching snowboarding (read, riding every day) every weekend/day off for 5 years to barely riding at all last season because of college, and here you are getting credit for doing the thing I love. Damn you!!!

As for the snow thing, I've never gone out west, but I hear great things about the spring-break riding out there, so I'd go with March.

I would vote for March. February will probably be fine, and I've skied Mammoth in January, too. However, there is no doubt that by March, the snow pack is good and deep anywhere in the Sierras. I miss skiing in Tahoe. It's been a very, very long time.
