What's the biggest Craigslist deal you missed?

Acoustic 360 Bass Cabinet ($60- or best offer)

Acoustic 360: This one does not go to eleven, but when cranked it’ll register on the Richter scale, annoy neighbors and scare small children.
Looking slightly rough: It may look like a survivor of the battle of the bands, or some other armed conflict, but still performs like a champ.

I’m also selling my Peavy Patriot bass, with custom fretwork ($90- or best offer)

Recently someone right in my town was selling an Acoustic 360 for $60 (obo!). When I saw the ad, it had been posted 4 hours earlier. I replied, but someone else had beat me.

That one wasn't my fault because I just didn't see it soon enough, but others were. There was another Acoustic rig going around $500-600; I hesitated and it was too late. There was also a $1,000 Ampeg halfstack, only used for home practice, for $300. I replied and was gonna get it, but the next day he told me someone else had bought it for more. I could've picked it up the night before, but I didn't want to sound desperate and insist on that.

I think in the future I need to remember my ABCs: Always Be Closing. Don't hesitate when you see a good deal. What does it take to get a Craigslist bargin? It takes BRASS BALLS, and also a minivan.

I got my ampeg 1540 cab for $200 within 4 hours of being posted on craigslist. I also got the 71 kustom rig beside it for $200 at a local pawn shop! The one 15 was blown in the kustom cab but i had an extra that i popped in. Both work great and both guys didnt know what they were worth! They both live in my dining room as my practice rigs now!!

But I did pick up a like new Mesa Boogie DC-2 last week for $350
