Oh man, I didn't even catch that when I read the article.

I heard a radio show talking about that this morning on my way to work. They were every bit as juvenile as the article hinted people might be.

We got Buck Futts elected senior class president when I was in high school. The three of us who pulled off the stunt also got suspended for a couple days, but it was worth it.

back when I was living in Ewing NJ, we had local politicians by the names of Cox and Ball running on the same bill.

A year or two ago there was a ticket for candidates for some local or county office and on all their ads and signs they had their last names as:
Bobo
Keenan
Smith

My son and I got a lot of laughs at that. We thought "Bobo Keenan Smith" would be PERFECT as the name of a clown who caters to the extremely wealthy.

Here in Milwaukee, there was a realty company formed by two guys who used their last names for the company name:

'Head and Seaman'

My first wife's gynecologist was Dr Biever, and I had to explain why this was funny.

fear that naming the center after Baals would make Fort Wayne the target of late-night television jokes.
Yup, now there won't be any television jokes on this topic

Last time I worked in Maine, there was a senator Woodcock campaign going on.

Now, what is the origin of a family with the plural of Baal as their last name?

When I was a kid, the guy who managed the swimming pool at the local country club
had the unlikely name of Don Drown.

Who was this person? If he was a priest or pastor that would have been funny.
