The title says all. I've broken my arm twice, fractured an endless amount of bones, bruised numerous body parts, received stitches for various lacerations, torn some ligaments on my calf, but the worst pain I have ever endured was:
A Testicular Contusion from getting kicked in the groin from a soccer ball from point blank. I've never felt so many crappy symptoms for so long (testicle pain, lower abdominal pain, headaches, stomach aches, back pain, thigh pain, kidney pain) from one injury.
What have you guys been through? (This is not a masochistic thread. Sorry ) |

For anyone who doesn't know, a bladder tap is when they insert a long ass needle into your bladder (while you're conscious) and withdraw urine.

But the worst I've endured was a pisser of an ingrown toenail That lasted the better (or worse, rather) part of 5 months before it cut through the end of my toe and stopped getting infected. It was on the open side of my big toe, and there was no comfort in any pair of shoes I tried. I do contruction work, so there were several times where I bumped it hard enough to stop and drop. Then, we had a guy working for us (I'm half owner) that was rowdy, and always wanted to wrestle because I'm pretty big. Inevitably, he'd step on my toe. He nearly died on several occasions.
I hate letting something so tiny get the best of me, but it got me for 5 long months. I should've went to the doctor, but I guess I never learn.

It woke me up in the middle of the night and if it wasn't for the lack of blood I would have thought that somebody snuck in my room and shot me it hurt so bad.

Apparently the tube between the kidney and the bladder...ohhh just the most sensitive part of anybody's body the doctor told me. Was stuck there for a few hours...a few doses of Demerol, morphine, a Nitro tablet, then another dose of Demerol and the pain finally stopped feeling like a dull samurai sword being twisted in my gut...and more like a like an -80 went off inside. eventually all of the dope caught up to me and I was in La La land for the rest of the afternoon and night....best high ever! Then it wore off and the pain came back. They were gonna slide something up my frickle to go and retrieve the sucker...however the pre op x-ray showed it was MIA. So they let me go home since it wasn't hurting. After drinking about 500 gallons of water, the next morning while relieving myself I feel a lil something go through and........tink....against the porcelain. Of course they want me to retrieve it myself for analysis. Tiny jagged lil sucker. Of course what happens before I can take it to the lab...I lose it...so we never find out what in my diet had caused it. Thankfully haven't had another....but ya never know. |

But that was an orgasm compared to that kidney infarction I had in '05.

| | | | Anyone ever hook up with a girl that they shouldn't have hooked up with? If so, you may know the "Q-tip test." I would say it would be between said STD test/torture or a spinal tap.

When I awoke I rolled over to get up, and my shoulder just snapped and crackled to loudly that I jumped! Turns out I had dislocated my shoulder, when I rolled on it it popped back, causing a slight crack in my shoulder blade, and a level 2 separation. I couldn't move my arm without pain intense enough to bring me to my knees. 2 years later it still hurts if I reach for something sideways, or sit against anything for too long, or lese my whole shoulder blade gets incredibly sore

The pain in my chest was so bad that I did not realize I had broken my back. I could not breathe without serious pain for weeks. It was swolen so bad and was so painful that I nearly passed out when my friends tried to get my chest protector off.
I did not realize how bad my back injury was untill they got me in the truck and started driving me to the hospital. When I stated putting pressure on my spine while sitting in the truck that pain started to become agonizing.
It took months to recover from that and I had pain issues for months.
