Whats wrong with my ipod?

Its the 80 gig model, just got it for christmas.

it won't turn on, won't go into diskmode...


it is showing a red circle with a red x inside, and giving the url apple.com/support/ipod


that url didn't help me.

Did you try resetting it?

Flip "hold" on and then off... then hold down the center button and the menu button at the same time.

If that doesn't work you need another Ipod.
