I read this news story a few mins ago and no matter how I try, I simply can't fathom how people can just sit there like it's nothing.
What the hell??
I guess the question is "what are they supposed to do?" I have no answer but this just seems so wrong..
the photog obviously tried an angle to make it look like people were just sitting around ,
not caring ...
CNN tries to sensationalize the situation by making it look like the sunbathers
were indifferent to the drowning of two little girls ...
those people may not have been wailing , or tearing their hair out in grief ,
but i doubt seriously that they just didn't even care ...

Maybe you're right about the "sleeping" part, I'd hope so.
I'm probably just over reacting... but damn...they were kids, 12 and 13 and the bodies lay there like that for an hour before being taken away??
